Wealth without intention is just a number.
The life you design, the people you take care of, the things you leave behind — our job is to make sure the wealth architecture serves all of it.
We build a clear structure around your financial life, then we measure whether it's working. Not just the portfolio. Everything.

A unified team you don’t need to manage.
Most families with significant wealth spend more time herding their professional advisors than living the life they built. We handle the team so you don't have to.
Birchpoint brings the right specialists to the project, manages the relationships between them, and makes sure every piece of the plan is aligned. You architect the vision. We manage the build.
Every client engagement is a construction project.
Not a portfolio review. Not a planning exercise. A vision, a blueprint, a team, and a scoreboard.
Your Wealth Partner
One person who knows your whole picture. Not a team you rotate through. They coordinate everything, show up to every meeting, and keep the plan moving.
The Service Calendar
You know exactly what we're doing and when. A structured cadence through the year. No surprises about when you'll hear from us, and nothing falls through the cracks.
The Expert Team
We bring in specialists (tax, estate, insurance, etc.) when your situation needs them. You get the right person in the room at the right moment, not a generalist with a guess.
The Scoreboard
At every formal review, we go through what we said we'd do and whether it happened. Financial and non-financial. If something changed, we say so and update the plan.
Family Mission Statement
A key outcome of our process is helping each family develop a Family Mission Statement. This statement clarifies the purpose of the family's wealth, the values that guide decisions, and the legacy they hope to build.
How we work together.

Start the Conversation
Every relationship begins with a 30-minute introductory call. The purpose of this conversation is to introduce our firm, learn about the prospective client's situation, understand what prompted them to reach out, and determine whether there is a strong mutual fit.
If both sides feel it makes sense to continue, we move to the discovery stage.

Understand the Landscape
At this stage we send a secure link that allows prospective clients to share key information about their financial lives so we can understand the full picture before offering guidance.
This typically includes information about assets and liabilities, family structure, business interests, existing advisors, and any priorities or concerns they would like us to focus on.
Once this information is gathered, we review it internally and identify any urgent or time-sensitive priorities that should be addressed.

Design the Path Forward
Based on what we learn, we develop an 18-month Journey Map (see below) outlining the most important work to complete together. This roadmap helps prioritize the issues that matter most and ensures the right work gets done at the right time.
If both sides feel aligned after reviewing the journey map, we proceed with a Letter of Engagement and formally begin the relationship.

Build the Foundation
The first phase of the relationship focuses on completing the work identified in the journey map and building a strong financial foundation.
This often involves coordinating planning across several areas, such as investment strategy alignment, tax planning opportunities, estate and trust structures, retirement income planning, insurance and risk management, business succession planning, and philanthropic planning.

Steward What Comes Next
Once the foundational work is complete, clients transition into our ongoing client service calendar.
Rather than reviewing everything at once, we focus on targeted planning topics throughout the year. Clients are not required to be involved in every item, but we keep them informed and bring them in when decisions or input are required.
Throughout the year we also meet with clients to discuss lifestyle updates, review progress, and address any new opportunities or challenges that arise. When unexpected events occur, we work alongside our clients to develop thoughtful solutions.

18-Month Journey Map
We build a custom wealth plan for every client. This is just an example.
The wealth management team will analyze your business structures and goals to ensure your professional life is integrated smoothly into your overall financial roadmap.
Your advisors will construct a custom strategy to optimize your cash flow, managing short-term reserves for immediate needs and establishing an ideal liquidity buffer.
Birchpoint will work alongside your legal professionals to ensure robust structures, like trusts and wills, are in place to efficiently manage and transfer your legacy.
Experts will scrutinize your tax landscape to implement proactive strategies designed to minimize your liabilities and maximize your after-tax wealth accumulation.
The team will conduct a thorough audit of your financial liabilities to safeguard your assets against any unforeseen events.
Drawing on previous insights, we will construct a globally diversified portfolio using an optimized asset allocation model tailored to your precise timeline and risk tolerance.
We will model future education funding scenarios for your children or grandchildren and implement tax-efficient savings vehicles to meet those targets.
In this final stage, we will develop a sustainable withdrawal and distribution strategy that transforms your accumulated wealth into a dependable income stream for a secure retirement.
Why families work with us

Multigenerational Planning
Multigenerational Planning
Some clients come to Birchpoint because they've built significant wealth and want to make sure the next generation is ready for it. We help bring the right family members into the conversation, balancing what to share, when, and how, so that when transitions happen, nobody is caught off guard and the wealth does what it was meant to do.

Starting a Foundation
Starting a Foundation
Some clients reach a point where giving becomes as important as growing. We help them structure it. Whether that's a donor-advised fund, a private foundation, or a giving strategy woven into the broader plan. So their generosity is as intentional as everything else they've built.

Buying a Vacation Home
Buying a Vacation Home
Some clients are ready to stop talking about the lake house and actually buy it. We help them think through the full picture: financing, tax implications, estate structure, cash flow, etc. So the decision is made with clarity, not just excitement.
Our Fee Structure
While we serve a broad range of individuals and families, clients with investable assets over $2 million find the most significant benefits from our sophisticated strategies.
